Transitional Living Center
The Transitional Living Center (TLC) offers a unique service in Sacramento County for persons with disabilities who are at risk of being homeless. Independent Living skills training is offered to TLC consumers in preparation for living on their own. TLC consumers have significant disabilities, and often utilize personal assistants (PA's) to assist them in activities of daily living. The TLC curriculum includes information and training on how to successfully live independently in the community.

The program encourages consumers to participate in community organizations and become active members of the Sacramento Community. TLC graduates attend school, are employed in the local work force, and volunteer in the community.
