RIL Services & Advocacy Transition Youth Services PICS – Peer Independence Counseling Sacramento
PICS is a transition age youth mentoring program based on service learning and independent living skills training, provided through easily accessible classes and activities for awesome Sacramento and Yolo young adults looking to get active.
Our 1:1 peer mentoring is founded on the core values of independent living and will provide leadership opportunities and community engagement for all participants.
ILS classes will include, but are not limited to, benefits and resource counseling, self-care tactics, transportation support, advocacy skills, disability disclosure training, money management, educational and vocational counseling, and housing access.
